Tasman Smith was born in New York, before moving to Australia as a baby. He attended Cranbrook High school, where he was the captain of the rugby team in 2019, and also played cricket. He also served as captain when playing for the New South Wales Schools in 2019. Smith was selected for the USA Under-20s in May 2020 and for an Australian Under-20s camp early in 2021 before playing for the University of Sydney. Smith joins RFCLA for the 2024 season!
