Alessandro Heaney started rugby at Wellington College in Berkshire, England where he attend from 2015-2020. He played rugby for their U18 Champions Cup, the NatWest Cup U15s, and for the Royal Marine Cadet Force. He later attended the University of Cork where he played rugby in 2021-2022 in the All-Ireland 1A League, and for Cork Constitution in 2022-2023. He also was on the extended squad for the Ireland U20s. We're excited to have Heaney join RFCLA on the pitch in 2024!
