Matt Heaton

Matt Heaton is originally from Godmanchester, Quebec in Canada and knew nothing about rugby until high school. He’s been playing the game ever since. Playing representative rugby in Canada from 16 upwards he took the opportunity to travel and develop his game in the UK before moving to the US. Heaton has had the honor of receiving the Canadian Player of the Year in 2017 and 2019. He also was a member of the Canadian National team that competed at the Rugby World Japan in 2019 before signing with Rugby ATL. Nicknamed "Heats," he'll be bringing plenty of fire to the pitch with RFCLA!
