Landmark debut announced for RFCLA at HSBC SVNS

Los Angeles, CA (February 21, 2024) The team is calling AEG’s Dignity Health Sports Park (DHSP) home for the upcoming season and will host its opener on Sunday, March 3, at 7:30 pm, following World Rugby’s HSBC SVNS LAX 2024 tournament.

“We are gearing up to provide RFCLA supporters with an incredible fan experience,” said Pete Sickle, CEO of RFCLA. “We’re grateful to partner with AEG and their world-class facility [DHSP] for our inaugural season in Los Angeles. We invite everyone to join the Club and support their new hometown team as Major League Rugby (MLR) returns to the West Coast.”

Individual tickets for RFCLA’s home opener on March 3 against the Dallas Jackals are now on sale from $45* per ticket here.

Fans purchasing a ticket for the match will also have the opportunity to experience the entire day of the HSBC SVNS LAX 2024 tournament on Sunday. The home opener is not included in season ticket packages and is only available as a stand-alone ticket due to the HSBC SVNS LAX 2024 tournament happening the same day at DHSP.

“It will be a great year to continue growing the game of rugby in Los Angeles,” continued Sickle. “The team has been training hard, and we’re prepared to showcase our determination on the pitch, and deliver a performance the city of Los Angeles will be proud of.

“It will be a celebration of Rugby next weekend, but also a homecoming party. This city has missed its rugby team this past season, and what better way to showcase rugby’s return, than alongside some of the best athletes in the world from the HSBC SVNS World Series.

2024 RFCLA season and single match ticket options will go on sale next week, starting at $150, and fans will be offered various options to pick the best experience for them. This year’s home competition will occur in two facilities within Dignity Health Sports Park: the main stadium, and the track and field facility, also known as “The Grounds.”

Season ticket options can be found here, with a $100 deposit securing your seat for the 2024 MLR season.

Dignity Health Sports Park is also home to the Major League Soccer team, Los Angeles Galaxy, among other teams.
